Rates and Details - Effective 2/1/2024
We carry up to 5 passengers plus the pilot during each balloon flight. Larger groups MAY be accommodated in multiple balloons - dependent on availability of additional aircraft.
All flights include the following:
Average flight time of one hour.
Complimentary champagne (alcohol removed sparkling brut) toast.
Complimentary ground transportation from our meeting location to the flight area and back to your vehicle post flight.
traditional hot air balloon adventure - $395 per person
PRIVATE HOT AIR BALLOON ADVENTURE - $2000 per flight; pilot plus up to 4 passengers
Enjoy the same flight as a traditional Balloon Adventure but have the entire gondola to yourselves. There will be no other clients on-board, just your party and the pilot. Private flights are perfect for those special occasions – Marriage Proposals, Birthdays, Weddings, etc.

Looking for an even more unique way to pop the question? How about an in-flight wedding ceremony? We’ll take a Private Hot Air Balloon Adventure and add services such as a minister, professional photographer, decorated basket, expanded post-flight ceremony, etc… Keep it simple or go elaborate, let us help you craft that special occasion flight of your dreams.
TETHERED BALLOONS - $2500/HR
Tethering a hot air balloon is an excellent way to entertain a crowd and is a great addition to any event. The basket can take 5-6 passengers aloft at a time, for rides up to 75 feet above the ground. Perfect for company picnics, grand openings, specialty advertising, parties, weddings, fairs, or any other type of event you can think of.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Due to the high demand for our balloon rides and to alleviate scheduling issues, we do not offer gift certificates or any other pre-paid option.
RESERVATIONS
To schedule your hot air balloon adventure, please call us at 860-209-0351 to check on available dates. We’ll get some basic information from you to complete a reservation and secure a deposit via major credit card: $100 per person for Traditional flights, $500 for Private Flights. We’ll then email you a confirmation letter with your flight details.
The balance due is payable on the launch site PRIOR to the flight.
When making your reservation, be prepared to give the fully clothed weight of each passenger as we need this information for flight planning purposes. The maximum individual passenger weight we can accommodate is around 250 lbs. due to the weight and space restrictions of this type of aircraft.
CANCELLATION POLICY
CT Ballooning initiated cancellations: Flight cancellations may occur at any time, up to and including the prearranged meeting time or launch time. This is typically caused by an analysis of the aviation weather conditions, or equipment related issues. If your flight is cancelled by CT Ballooning for any reason, you’ll have the opportunity to reschedule the flight based on availability, or we’ll refund your deposit within 10 business days.
Client initiated cancellations/changes: If you cancel or change your balloon adventure in any way less than 10 days prior to your scheduled flight; if you are late and miss the meeting time as specified in the confirmation letter; or you no-show for your flight, your deposit will be forfeited, and no refund of any kind will be issued. If you cancel your balloon adventure more than 10 days prior to your scheduled flight, your deposit will be refunded within 10 business days, minus a $25 processing fee.
**Flights Scheduled with a Gift Certificate or Boarding Pass**
Should you cancel or change your balloon adventure in any way less than 10 days prior to your scheduled flight; if you are late and miss the meeting time as specified in the confirmation letter; or you no-show for your flight, your gift certificate/boarding pass will be considered redeemed and rendered null & void.
